Ojika Island Tourism is super excited to announce that we are joining the wonderful mymizu movement! Living on the island surrounded by sea, every day we witness the severity of plastic pollution. Washed ashore on our gorgeous beaches are thousands of plastic bottles, plastic straws, plastic wrapping with writing in Japanese, Korean and Chinese, and other numerous peaces of micro plastic. We ask all visitors to help us minimize the impact of the plastic pollution by taking one simple but immensely meaningful step: bring your own water bottle! And we will be happy to fill it up for you for free at our tourist counter💦✨
