A very special dining experience

Created with much Love & Care,
Just for you and your loved one.

A dining experience like no other! Soak in the breathtaking views of the sea and islands around you while savoring the taste of the island’s delicacies. We took immense care when crafting this picnic: the location, menu, and decorations- everything was chosen with much care so that you can make a treasure-like memory with your dear one.

Dream-Like Location

We will set up the picnic at the top of a mountain in a park with the most amazing views. From up here, you can see the islands of Ojika town as well as the Goto Islands further back along the horizon. No urban noise will reach you here. Your picnic will be accompanied only by the sound of birds and insects singing. As the sun begins to set, the sky all around you will start to change color, and it might as well be the most beautiful view you have ever seen.

Beautiful Presentation

Our picnic got inspired by the bohemian style trend, especially the grazing picnic trend from Australia. The wooden, low table was custom-made by a local carpenter. It is set on top of rugs with cushions instead of chairs and decorated with dry flowers and candles. You can enjoy your food using beautiful western-style table wear. Soft, warm blankets will keep you warm as the sun begins to set. Lanterns will light up the picnic premises at dusk, keeping the romance alive.

Local Delicacies

On the custom-made grazing board, you will find locally sourced sea produce, including spiny lobster, turban shellfish, smoked bonito, and sea urchin mixed with rice. We tried to include as much local produce as possible, and you can also taste peanuts and mini tomatoes from Ojika. There will also be fresh spring rolls, served with Ojika’s peanut sauce, a fish cake made from Ojka’s fish, soup, and fruit, as well as cake from a local cafe for dessert.

Creating Unforgettable Memories

We created this picnic wishing that your trip to Ojika becomes the most beautiful memory of your entire Japan trip. While we had a honeymoon trip, and a romantic dinner date in mind while creating Ojika Picnic, it, of course, can be enjoyed by friends too.
