Aosa or Sea Lettuce is another messenger of spring on Ojika Island. This delicious and healthy sea bounty is used in a variety of local dishes including tempura and miso soup. Visit Ojika in spring and you can find aosa sold at every local supermarket. To taste the local dishes made from aosa we recommend doing a homestay.
