《SPRING》 TSUWA (JAPANESE SILVERLEAF)
Tsuwa or Japanese Silverleaf is one of nature's bounty found on Ojika Island in spring. Locals can feel the arrival of spring only when a tsuwa dish is served at the table. It grows by the rice paddies and fields as well as along the roads and can be prepared in various ways like boiling and frying. Its unique addictive flavor is often described as a "taste of early spring".
